The Assisted Living vision began with meetings in 2008, but it wasn’t until 2012 that the Assisted Living Board became a 501(c)3 organization. Fundraising efforts took center stage in December 2015, and those came to fruition in the fall of 2016. The November 22 groundbreaking ceremony set the stage for the next step: construction. Construction won’t begin until February or March, but it’s official. The vision of an assisted living facility for Pawnee City is about to become a reality!
